The case for Tesla to operate multiple car factories in the US has never been stronger

The current events encompassing Tesla and its own electric vehicle production plant in Fremont, CA, is one which will probably have consequences on the business ’future. But beyond the controversy, the incidents surrounding Fremont highlight one key point: it’s in Tesla’s best interests to make certain that its vehicle production facilities will be exclusive to one state.

The Fremont factory and Alameda County’s insistence on maintaining it shut has led in Tesla submitting a case against the county. Thus far, the mayor of the City of Fremont and also the City Palo Alto have sided Tesla, and Elon Musk has remarked that the organization ’s HQ and prospective projects will be moved to other websites, for example Gigafactory Nevada and a Texas website. What is pretty ironic is the fact that one of the carmakers currently operating a production center at the United States, Tesla is the most experienced in managing the COVID-19 pandemic. The electric automobile maker has dealt with the virus at Shanghai, and observing a government-mandated shutdown, Tesla was able to return to regular surgeries. Once reopened, Gigafactory Shanghai adopted a streak of severe anti-coronavirus strategies that helped the organization ’s employees stay safe despite the pandemic. Tesla intends to perform the exact same in Fremont, or more.

For now, reopening the Fremont factory will probably be the result of a stroke of luck or pressure on the county that would enable Tesla and the County Public Health Officer eye-to-eye. Tesla’s next centre will probably be located in Texas, and up to now, Sen. Ted Cruz has said on Twitter that the nation is completely behind the electrical automobile maker. Texas really makes sense for Tesla, especially considering that SpaceX, Musk’s private space venture, already has a facility in Boca Chica. If speculations show Tesla can very well be building its Terafactory in the state, which is creating exactly the Cybertruck, and other vehicles such as Model Y and Semi also.

Tesla is currently at a point where it’s currently producing vehicles which aren’t intended for a tiny demographic of car buyers.
