Toyota continues to be dragging their feet on new vehicle technology for quite a while now, apparently pleased to continue promoting their antiquated gas-powered fleet, even without a battery powered vehicles and only one plug hybrid vehicle and one fuel cell car (powered by 95% fossil-sourced hydrogen) across their whole lineup.
But if you see their recent ads, the deceptiveness of which people ’ve covered before, you wouldn’t understand this. Because they continue to misleadingly market their “self-charging” “hybrid Corolla” like it’s anything Besides a 100% fossil-powered petrol guzzler. And in case it wasn’t clear currently: “self-charging” is not a real thing, since the whole notion violates the basic laws of mathematics.
