Do you need a college degree to be in marketing?

The technology sector is creating a statement. You don’t need a college diploma to find a job nowadays.

More than half of those coders at Google don’t have a college diploma and many organizations are eliminating this requirement from applications.

Google is planning to establish three additional classes : one to data analysts, you for merchandise managers, and also yet for UX designers. Kent Walker, Google’s senior vice president of global affairs, posted the following information in a Tweet:

“In our own hiring, we’ll now take care of these new career certificates as the equivalent of a four-year diploma for related jobs. ”

Elon Musk has stated that you don’t even need to have a college degree to work at Tesla. He’s also stated that “college is essentially for fun and not learning. ”

So at the least in specialized fields, it seems that spending a little fortune to a four-year college degree is something of the past?

What about marketing?

There’s no reason to think that marketing education won’t evolve, too, but can you expect to receive a marketing job without a college diploma?
