The BMW i8 has been some kind of a black sheep at the German automaker ‘I’ brand. When BMW launched the i3, we thought that they would create ‘BMW I’ an all-electric brand, but they rather followed up with all the BMW i8 as a plug hybrid.
It was disappointing, but to be honest to BMW, it’s still the roadster/coup é on the market years after and they offer it an upgrade this year with a bit more battery capacity plus a version.
