Elon Musk’s trip to Germany seems to have already been a success, with all the CEO securing what could only be described as a complete commitment of support in the country’s economy ministry. Such a commitment can benefit Tesla considerably, especially considering the electrical car manufacturer ’s ongoing arrangement of its Gigafactory Berlin facility.
The Tesla CEO met by a number of officials during his visit. One of these is market minister Peter Altmaier, who had an hourlong meeting Musk. While members of the media weren’t present during the actual assembly, a person familiar with the matter has advised CNBC who Musk and Altmaier mostly spoke about Tesla’s branches in Germany, which might be worth billions of euros. Topics such as autonomous driving and spaceflight were reportedly discussed as well.

But maybe the most noteworthy component of the assembly was that Musk reportedly secured the complete support of this economy , who said that Tesla will find any assistance it requires from the country. “We are extremely pleased with your auto plant at Brandenburg and we wish you good fortune with that. You’ll have every support you require,” Altmaier reportedly remarked in a meeting with lawmakers in the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) party.

Aside from the economic ministry, Elon Musk also satisfied with Brandenburg state premier Dietmar Woidke, who later noted that the CEO had a “very pleasant and focused conversation. “Elon Musk is acquainted with all the details of this Gruenheide Gigafactory,” Woidke stated. Jörg Steinbach, Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy of the State of Brandenburg has also expressed his support for the CEO and the electrical car manufacturer. “Our assembly has been inspiring and motivating. Elon Musk has since tweeted positively about his visit to Germany, devoting the Gigafactory Berlin staff due to their “exceptional function. ” Musk also noted that the trip has been great, which the “assistance from government and individuals is super appreciated. ” Musk’s appreciation of his visit was evident when he addressed Giga Berlin’s employees while donned in what can only be described as a meme-worthy apparel.

Aside from important meetings with officials, Musk also shared a number of key upgrades on Gigafactory Berlin’s projects during his visit. One of these are details about the Model Y redesign that’s poised to be executed from the Germany-based electric car mill, which Musk states is going to be the first of its type. Musk also said that Gigafactory Berlin will probably incorporate battery mobile manufacturing onsite, as hinted in filings submitted by the company for the undertaking.
