Even the 2018 Progressive International New York bicycle show pulled to the Big Apple this weekend.
I dropped before the show and required in the sights.
Heritage styling proved to be a major story, but the development of Royal Enfield, a bicycle firm big in India, was notable.
The New York motorcycle show is one of my favourite events of the year.
The 2018 installment did not disappoint. The floor at the Javits Center on Manhattan’s West Side was filled with all manner of two-wheeled delights (as well as some three- and four-wheeled attractions).
All the players have been represented. We’d ole hogs from Harley-Davidsonracers in Indian, fashion machines in Triumph, Ducati, and Aprilia, and some flash bikes from Royal Enfield, the most economical new to reach the US market.
Suzuki, Yamaha, Honda, and Kawasaki also showcased their wide array of bikes, ATVs, and needless to say, JetSkis.
I sampled helmets, riding gear, and even tires!
