Tesla appoints a director for its operation in India

Tesla has appointed a Director for the performance in India. The business has selected Prashanth R. Menon, that has been with Tesla for four years, to oversee the firm ’s introduction to the Indian sector.

Menon’s LinkedIn was upgraded recently, and his job title now indicates that he is the Director of Tesla’s India performance. Previously, he functioned as the Director Advisory of Cost, Process, and Regulatory steps in the United States. The in-house hire will likely be advantageous to Tesla for a number of reasons, but the most noteworthy is that Menon already knows the business very well from his previous encounter. He shares some experience prior to Tesla using Elon Musk, since the two both attended the University of Pennsylvania’s prestigious Wharton School of Business.

Menon will join Tesla’s already-established group of executives that are in charge of the firm ’s entry to India. Before this season, Tesla named David Feinstein, Vaibhav Taneja, also Venkatrangam Sreeram since the 3 workers who would oversee the opening and following operations in the country. While the India project was speculated for many years, it seems Tesla is making adequate progress so far in 2021 to have the functionality up and operating.

Karnataka was mentioned since the choice for Tesla’s production plant from the State’s Chief Minister. The automaker has not yet confirmed or denied those reports.
