Tesla is quietly building a mammoth Supercharger with a whopping 56 stalls

The Supercharger Network is arguably one of Tesla’s largest advantages. Providing a quick, easy, and convenient way for electric car owners to charge their vehicles, the Supercharger Network is a service that is rarely matched by competitors. Along with Tesla being Tesla, the electric automobile manufacturer never actually let up in its own efforts to spread its own chargers throughout the world. This is especially notable with the coming of V3 Superchargers, which are capable of charging vehicles in peak rates of 250 kW.

But among Superchargers, there are websites that are particularly impressive. Even the Kettleman Supercharger, for one, has made headlines due to the 40-stall ability and its own impressive lounge. Equally impressive is the gigantic 50-stall Supercharger in Shanghai, which was built during a period when the sole Teslas being sold in China were both the Model S and Model X. Now, it seems that another gigantic Supercharger is under construction, and it has the potential to be even more striking than Tesla’another premier charging websites.

As mentioned recently by Tesla enthusiast @bryanMackSC, he recently came across a Supercharger channel that’s presently under construction in Firebaugh, California. The website seemed to be quite fresh, as even trackers like supercharge.info didn’t list the website until very recently. What’s quite intriguing was that the Supercharger in question had over 50 stalls, so which makes it notably larger than the Kettleman website, which is currently one of the largest in the world.

It didn’t take long until fellow Tesla enthusiast @MontrealTesla, that monitors updates into the Supercharger Network, was able to regain filings to the Firebaugh website. When it turned out, the website will host 56 Tesla Superchargers, and it’s going to be in the exact same vicinity as a full service restaurant and convenience store. These were summarized in filings filed for the website, one of which was filed with the County of Fresno’s Department of Public Works and Planning. “A total of 56 Tesla EV charging distances will be provided, 2 of which is ADA accessible (under a separate license ),” the submitting mentioned.

FIFTY SIX Superchargers are now under construction in Firebaugh, California!!! So it looks like that is what Elon’s 50s restaurant is still gonna function. The filings failed to specify if the enormous Firebaugh Supercharger would be armed with the company’s V3 stalls, though considering it might be one of the planet ’s largest Tesla charging stations, there is apparently a great probability this will be the case. Equipping the website using Supercharger V3 stalls, after all, will allow the channel to appeal to a substantial variety of Teslas every day.

Interestingly enough, the 56-stall Supercharger can be on the exact same website as a restaurant and convenience store. Elon Musk has really mentioned an incorporated 50’s themed restaurant in Tesla Superchargers before. Perhaps the Firebaugh Supercharger will be the first of its type to embrace the Tesla CEO’s notion? The upcoming few months will likely reveal if this will be the case.
