Tesla Semi job openings posted for Gigafactory Nevada

The Tesla Semi app seems to be hitting its stride. Just days after reports surfaced saying that four new prototypes of the Semi have been built at Gigafactory Nevada, the electric car manufacturer posted some job openings related to the Class 8 truck. 

As detected by electric vehicle urge Ryan Alvarez, the Tesla Semi-related tasks were listed for Sparks, Nevada at which Gigafactory 1 is situated. Thus Far, positions like a Process Engineer and Process Technician for the Semi have been posted on Tesla’s Careers page. The job listings have been uploaded on December 29, 2020. 

I mentioned Tesla is building semis at GFNV 3 days past, and this confirms it.

Reports in the electric vehicle community have indicated that Tesla is now in the process of building four new Semi prototypes at Gigafactory Nevada. The brand new vehicles will allegedly be utilized for testing, with two units being deployed to public streets, one for durability testing, and another person to Alaska for cold-weather testing. 

The four fresh Tesla Semi prototypes will allegedly be using the organization ’s 2170 L cells, which comprise higher density. EV urge @Carsonight, citing resources from Gigafactory Nevada, further noted that the newest Semi prototypes will be outfitted with three battery packs in a row, with each one being half as long as a Model S.

Details regarding the Tesla Semi’s production version have begun to emerge as of late. These include the approaching Class 8 truck’s 10-camera platform , which was hinted at lately in Tesla’s production Autopilot code. Previous sightings of the Tesla Semi prototypes have indicated that the evaluation units unveiled by the business back in late 2017 were outfitted with a whopping 26-camera system.
