Tesla delivered 95,200 of its electrical vehicles in the next quarter, a dramatic change from a disappointing initial phase which set a new record and overcome analysts’ expectations.

Officials anticipated Tesla to send 91,000 vehicles according to estimates compiled by FactSet.

The figures stand in stark contrast to the company’s first quarter delivery numbers when it reported deliveries of 63,000 vehicles, almost a one-third drop. The low numbers indicated what was to return: wider-than-expected reduction of $702 million driven by disappointing delivery numbers, costs and pricing adjustments to its vehicles.

The next quarter, at least in regard to deliveries, is giving a glimpse perspective of maybe its own earnings and the business, which have to be reported.

Tesla reported that it produced 87,048 vehicles at the next quarter in comparison to 77,100 in the prior period.  The second-quarter production figure also beats the company’s quarter stats of 86,555 automobiles.
