Elon Musk’s Boring Company has leased an industrial space using two buildings in Pflugerville, Travis County, Texas. On December 7, The Boring Co. enrolled for renovation work in 15709 Impact Way in Pflugerville using the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.

The Pflugerville industrial space is less than 20 miles from Del Valle, Texas where Tesla’s Cybertruck Gigafactory is now being assembled, reported the Austin Business Journal. The space consists of 2 buildings on 14 acres of property.

Reports about The Boring Co. arriving into Texas spread last month, partially since the tunneling startup listed a number of job postings for Central Texas. The recent lease of the industrial space in Pflugerville would support the rumors.

The Boring Co. is set to complete and launch its Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC) Loop in Sin City soon. In October, Elon Musk said the LVCC Loop will be ready “in a month or so. ” Since that time, the tunneling startup has filed the application for the Vegas Loop into the Las Vegas City Council.  A brief video showcasing among the LVCC Loop’s stations has also been posted online.

Musk declared his official movement to the Lone Star country recently. Part of the reason he decided to move was since he traveled to Texas often for business at SpaceX’s Boca Chica website along with the Tesla Cybertruck Gigafactory. With this new development, it might seem that Elon Musk will soon have a different business-related reason to keep in Texas.
